San Juan, Puerto Rico | November 11, 2025 | By Team Project TIES

Project TIES served over 500 people at its booth during the Baby Boomer Expo on November 8 and 9 at the San Juan Convention Center.

During the event, Project TIES gave attendees a chance to connect with their creativity through a Photo Booth, where they could take a keepsake photo along with the information they received.

Over 300 people chose to take a photo at the Project TIES booth.

Most attendees were 55 years or older, although individuals of all ages participated. Visitors received essential information about what HIV is and a directory of service providers in San Juan. In addition to distributing educational materials, they learned about the services offered by Project TIES and the locations where Rapid Initiation of Antiretroviral Therapy (Rapid ART/IR-TAR) is available.
